Disneyworld getting a fifth theme park?

While there's no official announcement about a fifth theme park gate at Walt Disney World, recent planning documents from the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) suggest the possibility remains open for development in the future. The CFTOD's new Comprehensive Plan 2045 explicitly reserves land and infrastructure capacity for a new "major theme park" and two "minor theme parks," according to WDW News Today, Disney Tourist Blog and WDWMagic. This indicates that Disney could, at some point, pursue the development of a fifth gate, but there are no immediate plans or announcements.
